Fullbright is a Minecraft hack that allows the user to see in the dark. It also allows the user to see underwater.

Fullbright can be used to walk around in dark areas without placing any [[mc>torches]].

Disabling Fullbright's [[#Method|Gamma method]] will always set [[mc>Options#Video_Settings|Minecraft's Brightness slider]] back to the "Default brightness" value. Before this slider was added, Minecraft's brightness would instead be set to 50%.

The "Shader compatibility mode" checkbox only shows up in [[Wurst 6]] versions that include OptiFine. Enabling this mode allows Fullbright to work with certain shader packs that would otherwise break it.
